I am thinking about going to college, and doing an online college – is this just plain stupid, should i go for it, isnt the education bad compared to actually attending college at a campus?

I want a good career, but I’m just not able to go to a traditional college campus to take classes right now. I don’t want any of these “online only” things that are going to be useless when I go to try for jobs, but does anyone know of any real (preferably fairly well-known) colleges or universities that have any programs that will allow me to earn a certificate or degree completely online?

I want to go back to school but my work schedual is in the way… I love my job but want to advance by getting a degree in criminal justice. I was thinking about doing my schooling online. Has anyone ever sucessfully completed online schooling and if so what were some pros and cons?
