How do I become a human resources manager/personnel if I already have a masters in education?

Hi. I already have a BA and MA in education. I was wanting to know what program or degree I would need to go into in order to become a human resources professional. Do I just need a certificate/AA or do I need to do another masters degree? Any help you can give would be great. Thank you!

  • Mr. T:

Erin – Since you already have a MA in Education, i do not believe you would have to go back for a whole new degree – but it would be helpful to go back and take classes in human resource management. I would also suggest trying an internship or co-op to gain experience and get your foot-in-the-door.
